The IPC provides a message center message to indicate there is an EPAS system concern. When a fault exists in the EPAS, the PSCM sends a request to the IPC through the GWM. The IPC provides a message center message to indicate a fault in the EPAS system.

The IPC receives the EPAS failure message request through the GWM over the HS-CAN3.

The GWM receives the EPAS failure message from the PSCM over the HS-CAN2.
