Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube LH: Installation
- Inspect the spring lock fitting and replace as needed.
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Tighten an additional 450 degrees, do not to exceed 26 Nm maximum.

NOTE: Listen for audible click when installing the turbocharger oil supply tube into the quick connect fitting.
Install the turbocharger oil supply tube into the quick connect fitting. Refer to Fuel System General Information
- Install the turbocharger oil supply tube secondary latch.
- Attach the HO2S electrical connector retainer. Install and tighten the turbocharger oil supply tube bracket retaining nut.
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Attach the wiring harness retainer. Install and tighten the engine appearance cover mounting ballstud.
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Attach the wiring harness retainer.
- Install a new turbocharger oil supply tube filter, a new turbocharger oil supply tube linked sealing washer and a new bolt.
- Install the turbocharger oil supply tube, then tighten the new turbocharger oil supply tube bolt in the following 2 stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
- Stage 2: Tighten 90 degrees.
- Install the exhaust manifold heat shield, then install and tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- Attach the HO2S wire retainer.
- Remove the oil filler cap and install the engine appearance cover. Install the oil filler cap.
- Check and fill the engine oil level as needed with Motorcraft ® SAE 5W-30 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil (US); Motorcraft ® SAE 5W-30 Super Premium Motor Oil (Canada) XO-5W30-QSP (US); CXO-5W30-LSP12 (Canada); or equivalent.
