Transmission Support Insulator: Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the following items:
- Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Refer to: Battery Tray .
- Disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor electrical connector and remove the crankcase vent tube.
- Remove the retainers and the RH and LH filler panels.

NOTE: Hybrid engine shown, gasoline engine similar.
This step is for engines not equipped with front engine lifting eye hook. If necessary, install the special tool on the RH side of the cylinder head. Use Special Service Tool: 303-050 (T70P-6000) Lifting Bracket, Engine.

This step is for engines not equipped with rear engine lifting eye hook. If necessary, install the special tool on the RH side of the cylinder head. Use Special Service Tool: 303-050 (T70P-6000) Lifting Bracket, Engine.
- Using the special tools, support the engine. Use Special Service Tool: 303-F072 Support Bar, Engine., 303-290-05A Adapter for 303-290A., 303-290B-19 Adapter for 303-290B.
- Remove the transmission support insulator nuts and the bracket bolt.

- Remove and discard the studs.
- Remove the bolts and the transmission support insulator.
