Battery Disconnect and Connect - Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)

Disconnect

4. NOTE: When disconnecting the battery cable to interrupt power to the vehicle electrical system, disconnect the battery ground cable only. It is not necessary to disconnect the positive battery cable.
   1. Torque

      : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

   2. Torque

      : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Connect 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
