Parking Assist Control Module (PAM) - 5-Door: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. If equipped, remove the subwoofer. Refer to: Subwoofer Speaker .
  2. Remove the luggage compartment cover.

  3. Remove the load space floor.

  5. NOTE: Four door vehicle shown, five door similar.

    Remove the luggage compartment opening trim panel.

    • Position the weatherstrip aside.

    • Remove the push-pins and release the clips.

  6. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panel. Refer to: C-Pillar Upper Trim Panel .

    Vehicles with full rear seat backrest 

  7. Release the rear seatback and position it aside.

    Vehicles with split rear seat backrest 

  8. Release the RH rear seat backrest and position it aside.

    All vehicles 

  9. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panel.

    • Release the clips and X-mas tree retainers.

    • Disconnect the RH load space lamp.

    • Position the upper C-pillar trim panel aside.

  10. Remove the RH load space trim panel.

    All vehicles 

  11. Remove the parking assist control module.

    • Disconnect the parking assist control module electrical connectors.

    • Remove and discard the push pins.
