Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the coolant outlet connector. Refer to: Engine Cooling - 3.0L Ecoboost (Except Hybrid) .
- Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: Do not reuse the ECT sensor, install a new sensor.
Remove and discard the ECT sensor.
Torque: 142 lb.in (16 Nm)
