Special Tool(s) / General Equipment

- Remove the RH halfshaft. Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH .
- Remove the RH roll restrictor. Refer to: Roll Restrictor RH .
- Remove the driveshaft. Refer to: Rear Driveshaft .
- Remove the RH catalytic converter. Refer to: Catalytic Converter RH .
- Remove the LH catalytic converter. Refer to: Catalytic Converter LH .
- Disconnect the PTU cooler lines.
- Using hose clamp pliers, pinch both PTU cooler lines.Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
- Disconnect the PTU cooler lines.
- Disconnect the PTU temperature sensor.
- Remove the PTU heat shield bolts and the PTU heat shield.
- Disconnect and position aside the PTU vent hose.
- Remove the PTU support bracket bolts and the PTU support bracket.
- Remove the PTU bolts and the PTU.
- Remove and discard the PTU to transmission compression seal.
