Intermediate Shaft Seal: Removal

- Remove the RH halfshaft. Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH .
- Remove the PTU support bracket bolts and the PTU support bracket.

NOTE: This step can be performed through the passenger side wheel opening.
Using the puller, remove and discard the intermediate shaft seal.Use the General Equipment: Slide Hammer Dent Puller
- Inspect the intermediate shaft bushing. Replace if necessary. Refer to: Intermediate Shaft Bushing .
