Halfshaft Seal LH: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. NOTE: Make sure the seal is installed on the flat side of the special tool.

    Install a new halfshaft seal on the special tool.Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 307-582A Cover Axle Seal Installer.

  2. Using the special tool, install the LH halfshaft seal.Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 307-582A Cover Axle Seal Installer.

  3. Install the front LH halfshaft. REFER to: Front Halfshaft LH .
  4. Install the underbody shield.

  5. Check the transmission fluid level. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .
