Muffler and Tailpipe: Removal

NOTE: Clean all exhaust connections before reassembly.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Loosen the LH and RH exhaust muffler and tailpipe clamps and disconnect flex pipe outlets at the muffler inlets.
Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

1. Detach the exhaust isolators hangers.
2. Slide the muffler and tailpipe rearward out of the isolator hanger and remove the muffler and tailpipe.
