Oil Cooler: Installation

1.

Align the oil cooler to the oil filter adapter and install the oil cooler insert bolt.
- Tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

  Using the hose clamp installer, install the coolant hoses.
- 2.
  
  Remove the hose locking pliers.

3.

NOTE: Do not lubricate the engine oil filter gasket.

Install a new engine oil filter.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) and then rotate an additional 180 degrees.

Position the air deflector and fasten the retainers.

If equipped, install the skid plate cover.

  Install the turbocharger inlet tube and insert the turbocharger inlet tube into the turbocharger inlet tube bracket grommet.
- 2.
  
  Tighten the turbocharger inlet tube clamp to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

- 1.
  
  Install the PCV tube. Refer to: Fuel System General Information .
- 2.
  
  Connect the PCV pressure sensor electrical connector.

Connect the PCV tube quick connect couplings and the turbocharger bypass tube. Refer to: Fuel System General Information .

9.

Install the Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe. Refer to: Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .

10.

  Remove the oil filler cap and install the engine appearance cover.
- 2.
  
  Install the oil filler cap.

11.

Inspect and adjust the coolant level in the degas bottle.

12.

Inspect and adjust the engine oil level.
