Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
With the ignition ON, the PCM sends messages to the TBC module over the HS-CAN. If the TBC module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame, the TBC module sets DTCs. For information on the network messages sent to the TBC module by the PCM, refer to the Network Message Chart in Description and Operation.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| U0100:00 | Lost Communication With ECM / PCM: No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets in continuous memory when any of the messages from the PCM is missing. This can be due to a PCM failure, a circuit failure on the HS-CAN or an excessive load on the network. |
