Pinpoint Test T : The Heated Seat Is Inoperative - Right Rear: Notes

Normal Operation

The heated seat control switch provides a momentary ground signal to the rear heated seat module when pressed and released. Each time the switch input is received, the rear heated seat module cycles through each of the various modes (high, low and off). When the heated seat is active, the rear heated seat module supplies voltage to illuminate the heated seat control switch indicator(s). One indicator for low mode, two indicators for high mode. The rear heated seat module supplies voltage to the cushion and backrest heater mats. The cushion and backrest heater mats are connected in series and operate together. Temperature is maintained by the rear heated seat module using a sensor contained within the cushion heater mat. The rear heated seat module is designed to remain ON, heating the seat and maintaining temperature until switched OFF.

Fuse
Wiring, terminals or connectors
Heater mat
RHVAC module
Rear heated seat module
