The alarm system does not activate from an unauthorized entry at a door	Door ajar input	DIAGNOSE the courtesy lamps not illuminating when a door is open. REFER to Interior Lighting .
The alarm system does not activate from an unauthorized entry at the liftgate	Liftgate ajar input	DIAGNOSE the courtesy lamps not illuminating when the liftgate is open. REFER to Interior Lighting .
The alarm system does not arm or no turn signal flash confirmation	Refer to the Pinpoint Test	GO to Pinpoint Test B .
No horn output during alarm activation	Horn output concern	DIAGNOSE an inoperative horn. REFER to Horn .
False alarm activation	Door ajar input Hood ajar input Liftgate ajar input Panic button pressed on a RKE transmitter A valid PATS key read is NOT received when the ignition transitions to RUN (vehicles with a conventional ignition switch)	An intermittent fault exists. MONITOR the BCM alarm event PIDs to identify and isolate the cause of the last alarm activation. Most recent alarm trigger event (ALARM_EVT_1). Second most recent alarm trigger event (ALARM_EVT_2). All keys are lost, the perimeter alarm is active and unable to program new keys (vehicles with a conventional ignition switch)	Unable to enter security access	Program a RKE transmitter (key fob). REFER to Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems . DISARM the alarm using the newly programmed RKE transmitter. ERASE all keys and PROGRAM new keys. REFER to Anti-Theft Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) .
