Pinpoint Test E : DTC B1251:00: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The BCM monitors the TPMS and sets a DTC when there is a sensor concern. The BCM also sends a message to the IPC to flash the TPMS warning indicator for 70 seconds and then illuminate the warning indicator continuously when the ignition is set to ON. The message center also displays TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B1251:00 Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets in continuous memory in the BCM when there is a fault in the TPMS such as a damaged or missing TPMS sensor(s), or when attempting to train a TPMS sensor(s) with a low battery.
