Transmission Fluid Cooler Hoses: Removal

1.

Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to Bumpers .

Vehicles with an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler

2.

Release the clamps and remove the transmission fluid cooler-to-transmission auxiliary fluid cooler hose.

Release the clamps and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the transmission fluid coolers.

Vehicles without an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler

Release the clamps and disconnect the hoses from the transmission fluid cooler.

5.

Remove the pushpins, rotate the 1/4-turn retainers and remove the lower air deflector.

6.

Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes secondary latches.

7.

Using the special tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes fittings.

8.

Open the latches, remove the bolt and remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses.
