BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B10AB:00 | Remote Keyless Entry Synchronization: No Sub Type Information | Sets when the BCM detects the rolling counter received from an RKE transmitter is out of synchronization with the rolling counter stored in the module. |
| B1218:00 | Transmitter Identification Code: No Sub Type Information | Sets when the BCM detects an invalid TIC from an IKT. |
Possible Causes
- IKT
- IKT battery
- IKT button pressed a substantial amount of times while outside the range of the vehicle
- IKT programming
- Radio Transceiver Module (RTM)
- BCM
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect the IKT for damage.
- Check for aftermarket RKE transmitters.
