Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems - Without Intelligent Access (IA): Overview

The power lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors upon a customer request from either door lock control switch in the vehicle, an Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT), or the keyless entry keypad.
The liftgate glass latch release can be actuated using the liftgate glass release switch. On vehicles with a manual liftgate, the liftgate glass latch can also be released using an IKT.
The manual liftgate latch release can be actuated using the liftgate release switch.
If equipped, the power liftgate can be opened/closed using an IKT or one of the liftgate control switches. Refer to Body Closures for power liftgate information.
