Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When the ignition is on, the PAM continuously supplies voltage and ground to the parking aid sensors while monitoring a signal circuit for each sensor. If battery voltage is detected on the signal circuit from one or more of the front parking aid sensors, the PAM stores a corresponding DTC and disables the front parking aid system.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B1B40:12 | Left Front Outer Sensor: Circuit Short To Battery | A continuous and on-demand DTC that sets when the left front outer parking aid sensor signal line is shorted to the sensor supply circuit or battery voltage. |
| B1B42:12 | Left Front Inner Sensor: Circuit Short To Battery | A continuous and on-demand DTC that sets when the left front inner parking aid sensor signal line is shorted to the sensor supply circuit or battery voltage. |
