Selector Lever Knob: Removal

Expedition

1.

Remove the selector lever trim ring and the console tray insert.

Remove the screw, raise the console upper trim panel and disconnect the ambient light electrical connector and remove the trim panel.

3.

Remove the selector lever trim ring.

4.

Raise the console upper trim panel and disconnect the ambient light electrical connector and remove the trim panel.

All vehicles

5.

Remove the RH selector lever knob cover.

  Start at the bottom front only.
1. 2.
  
  Move towards the top front and remove the cover.

Remove the LH selector lever knob cover.

  Start at the bottom front only.

  Move towards the top front and remove the cover.

7.

Remove and discard the RH selector lever knob screw.

Remove and discard the LH selector lever knob screw.

Remove the bolts and position the selector lever aside.

10.

Disconnect the SelectShift ® switch and TC switch electrical connectors.

Remove the selector lever knob.
