Pinpoint Test M : The Airbag Warning Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Airbag Warning Indicator. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .

If the restraints indicator request message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the airbag warning indicator to its last state (on or off) based upon the last message received.

If the restraints indicator request message is missing or is deemed invalid for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0151:00 in continuous memory and defaults the airbag warning indicator on.
