Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

NOTE: Once the IPC sets DTC U0100:00, multiple gauges or indicators are likely to be inoperative in the IPC. Other modules that require data from the PCM all set communication DTCs and can also exhibit system function concerns.
DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0100:00 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": No Sub-Type Information Sets in continuous memory in the IPC if data messages received from the PCM over the HS-CAN are missing for 5 seconds or more.
