Pinpoint Test As : The Hill Descent RECONFIGURABLE Telltale (RTT) Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Diagnostic Overview 

See Hill Descent Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT). Refer to Information And Message Center .

NOTE: If DTC U0121:00 sets in the IPC, other observable symptoms can be an always on ABS warning indicator or stability-traction control indicator.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

If the hill descent message display message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the hill descent Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) remains in the last indication mode (on or off) based upon the last message received.

If the hill descent message display message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0121:00 in continuous memory and defaults the hill descent Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT) off.
