Pinpoint Test AK : The Off Road Display Is Inoperative (If Equipped): Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

See Off Road Display. Refer to Information And Message Center .

If the hill descent message display, electronic stability control mode, vehicle roll or vehicle pitch messages are missing for less than 5 seconds from the ABS module, the off road display defaults to the current display based on the last messages received.

If the hill descent message display, electronic stability control mode, vehicle roll or vehicle pitch messages are missing for 5 seconds or longer from the ABS module, the IPC sets DTC U0121:00 and defaults the off road display to a base image without depicting specific vehicle status.

If the vehicle speed or 4x4 status messages are missing or invalid, the speedometer or 4WD indication is inoperative. Diagnose the speedometer or 4WD indicator or Reconfigurable Telltale (RTT).
