Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor: Removal

1.

Remove the Left Hand (LH) turbocharger. Refer to Fuel Charging and Controls - Turbocharger, 3.5L GTDI .

2.

Remove the retainers and heat shield.

Position aside the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor access plug.

NOTE: Remove the bolt and the CKP sensor from the bell housing before disconnecting the electrical connector to prevent the CKP sensor from falling in the bell housing.

  Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
- 2.
  
  Remove the CKP sensor then disconnect the electrical connector.
