Child Safety Seat Restraints

If a child safety seat was in use during a collision, inspect the child safety seat component mounting areas and install new parts or repair any damage and restore the vehicle to the original production configuration.

Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor

The second row child safety seat tether anchors are part of the 20 percent and 40 percent seat cushion frames. Do not attempt repair of these, install a new seat cushion frame.

The third row center child safety seat tether anchor is bolted to the 60 percent seat backrest frame. Refer to Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor to install a new tether anchor.

Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor - Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH)

The second row 40 percent seat lower anchors and tethers for children are part of the seat cushion frame assembly. Do not attempt repair of these, install a new seat cushion frame.

The second row 20 percent seat lower anchors and tethers for children are part of the seat backrest frame. Do not attempt repair of these, install a new seat backrest frame.
