Steering Column Motor: Removal

NOTE:
Steering column telescopic motor shown, steering column tilt motor similar.
- 1.
Remove the steering column. Refer to Steering Column .
- 2.
With the steering column upside down on a workbench, detach the telescopic motor electrical connector pin-type retainer from the steering column.
- 4.
Remove the telescopic motor screws and the trunnion nut capture bracket.- To install, tighten the bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
