Removal And Installation: Headliner: Removal

NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Position aside the LH and RH front door weatherstrips.

If equipped, remove the roof opening panel trim ring.

Remove the LH and RH A-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel .

5.

Release the wire harness pin-type retainer from the A-pillar.

Remove the glove compartment. For additional Information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console .

7.

Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wire harness retainers.

  Release the headliner wire harness retainer.
- 2.
  
  Position the headliner wire harness above the instrument panel.

If equipped, remove the rain sensor cover.

If equipped, disconnect the rain sensor electrical connector.

Remove the LH and RH sun visors.

  Remove the screws.

  If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sun visor.

If equipped, remove the overhead console. For additional Information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console .

Remove the LH and RH upper B-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to B-Pillar Trim Panel .

15.

Remove the LH and RH C-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel .

16.

Remove the LH and RH D-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel .

17.

NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

Remove the LH side and RH side garment hangers.
- Open the access panel.
- Remove the garment hanger screws.

Remove the LH and the RH third row safety belt anchor bolts and position the safety belts aside.
- 1.
  
  Open the anchor bolt cover.
- 2.
  
  Remove the anchor bolt and position the safety belt aside.
  - To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Remove the headliner center pin-type retainers.

  Detach the rear electrical connector pin-type retainer.
- 2.
  
  Disconnect the rear electrical connector.

  Tilt the headliner down to gain access to the rear auxilary A/C duct.
- 2.
  
  Disconnect the rear auxilary a/c duct and position aside.

Remove the headliner.
