Liftgate and Liftgate Glass Ajar Switches

The liftgate ajar switch receives a voltage signal from the BCM. The liftgate glass ajar switch is connected to vehicle ground.

When the liftgate and liftgate glass are closed, the liftgate and liftgate glass ajar switches are closed, routing the signal through a wire between them to ground. When the liftgate and liftgate glass are opened, the ajar switches open.
