Belt-Minder ® Deactivating/Activating: Preparation

NOTE: The Belt-Minder ® can also be deactivated/activated using the scan tool.

  1. 1.

    Place the transmission in PARK (P).

  1. 2.

    Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

  1. 3.

    Close all the vehicle doors.

  1. 4.

    Unbuckle the driver safety belt.
