Pinpoint Test S : The Hill Descent Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Hill Descent Indicator. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .

If the hill descent indication message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the hill descent indicator to its last state (on or off) based upon the last message received.

If the hill descent indication message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0121:00 and defaults the hill descent indicator on.
