Pinpoint Test K : A 4WD (4X4 A, 4X4 H Or 4X4 L) Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See 4WD (4X4 A, 4X4 H Or 4X4 L) Indicator. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .

If the 4x4 auto indicator, 4x4 high indicator or 4x4 low indicator status message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the specific indicator (4X4 A, 4X4 H or 4X4 L) to its last state (on or off) based upon the last message received.

If the 4x4 auto indicator, 4x4 high indicator or 4x4 low indicator status message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the specific indicator (4X4 A, 4X4 H or 4X4 L) off.
