Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems - With Intelligent Access (IA): Overview

The power lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors upon a customer request from either door lock control switch in the vehicle, a passive key, or the keyless entry keypad.
The liftgate glass latch release can be actuated using the liftgate glass release switch.
The power liftgate can be opened/closed using the passive key or one of the liftgate control switches. Refer to Body Closures for power liftgate information.
The passive entry feature allows locking and unlocking of the vehicle and opening the liftgate without having to use a conventional key.
