Removal And Installation

Position vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Jacking and Lifting .

NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.

NOTE: LH (left-hand) height sensor assembly shown, RH (right-hand) similar.

  Disconnect the height sensor electrical connector.

  Remove the bolt and detach the height sensor arm from the lower control arm.
  - To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-In).

  Remove the height sensor bracket bolt and remove the height sensor.
  - To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-In).

Installation

NOTE: The linkage must be in a near vertical position after installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in component damage and/or failure.

NOTE: The RH and LH height sensor assemblies cannot be used on opposite sides of the vehicle.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2.

Calibrate the suspension height sensor. Connect the scan tool and carry out the Ride Height Calibration routine. Follow the scan tool directions.
