Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch: Removal

1.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to Jacking and Lifting .

2.

Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

If equipped, turn the quarter-turn retainers, detach the pushpins and remove the lower air deflector.

If equipped, remove the bolts and the skid plate.

Remove the engine appearance cover.

Remove the Air Cleaner(ACL) outlet pipe. Refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .

  Disconnect the PCV pressure sensor electrical connector.

  Remove the PCV tube. Refer to Fuel System General Information

Disconnect the quick connect couplings and disconnect the turbocharger bypass tube, refer to Fuel System General Information

9.

Release the retainers, remove the pushpins and the lower air deflector.

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the LH turbo charger outlet tube from the CAC.

Release the turbocharger outlet tube retainer. Loosen the clamp and remove the LH turbocharger outlet tube.

Loosen the clamp at the turbocharger. Disconnect the turbocharger inlet tube from the grommet and remove the turbocharger inlet tube

If equipped, disconnect the block heater electrical connector and unclip the wire harness retainer.

Disconnect the Engine Oil Pressure(EOP) switch electrical connector.

Remove the EOP switch.
