Engine Mount - RH: Installation

- 1.
Clean the engine support insulator-to-cylinder block and engine support insulator-to-frame mating surfaces of any dirt or foreign material prior to installation.
- 3.
Position the RH engine support insulator-to-cylinder block bracket and install the new bolts.- Tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
- 5.NOTE: Only use hand tools when installing the engine support insulator studs or damage to the engine support insulator can occur.NOTE: Apply threadlock to the stud threads prior to installation.
Install the RH engine support insulator studs.
- Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- 6.NOTE: Only use hand tools when installing the RH engine support insulator nuts or damage to the engine support insulator can occur.
Install the new RH engine support insulator nuts.
- Tighten to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft).
- 7.NOTE: Only use hand tools when loosening or tightening the engine support insulator through bolts or damage to the engine support insulator-to-cylinder block bracket can occur.
Install the new RH engine support insulator through bolt.
- Tighten to 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
- 8.NOTE: Only use hand tools when loosening or tightening the engine support insulator through bolts or damage to the engine support insulator-to-cylinder block bracket can occur.
Tighten the LH engine support insulator through bolt.
- Tighten to 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
- 9.
Install the starter. Refer to: Starting System .
- 11.
Install the A/C compressor belt. Refer to: Accessory Drive .
- 12.NOTE: Only use hand tools when installing the transmission mount-to-crossmember nuts or damage to the transmission mount can occur.
Tighten the transmission mount-to-crossmember nuts.
- Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
- 13.
Position the exhaust Y-pipe dual catalytic converter-to-exhaust intermediate pipe and install the new bolts.- Tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
- 16.
Install the LH and RHHO2S. Refer to: Electronic Engine Controls .
- 17.
If equipped, install the front driveshaft. Refer to: Driveshaft .
- 18.
If equipped, reposition the heater pump and install the bolt and nuts.- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- 19.
Position back the hose to the valve cover stud. Install the CAC tube bracket and the nuts.- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- 20.
Install the turbocharger outlet pipe and attach the turbocharger outlet pipe to the bracket. Tighten the turbocharger outlet pipe clamps to 5.0 Nm (44 lb-in) and connect the turbocharger outlet pipe hose.

Install the turbocharger inlet pipe.- 1.
Attach the turbocharger inlet pipe to the bracket.
- 2.
Tighten the turbocharger inlet pipe clamp to 5.0 Nm (44 lb-in).

Install the turbocharger outlet tube, install the turbocharger outlet tube into the retaining clamp and insert the turbocharger outlet tube into the turbocharger outlet tube bracket grommet. Tighten the turbocharger outlet tube clamps to 5.0 Nm (44 lb-in).

Install the turbocharger inlet tube and insert the turbocharger inlet tube into the turbocharger inlet tube bracket grommet.

Tighten the turbocharger inlet tube clamp to 5.0 Nm (44 lb-in).

Connect the quick connect couplings and connect the turbocharger bypass tube. Refer to: Fuel System General Information .

Connect the PCV pressure sensor electric connector.
- 2.
Connect the PCV tube quick connect couplings. Refer to: Fuel System General Information .

Install the Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe. Refer to: Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .
- 29.
If equipped, turn the quarter turn retainers, attach the push-pins and install the lower air deflector.
- 31.NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
Position the hood and install the bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- 33.
Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery, Mounting and Cables .
