Roof Opening Panel Motor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: Do not replace the roof opening panel glass motor and the shield motor individually. They must both be replaced as a pair.
NOTE: Roof opening panel front glass motor shown, roof opening panel shield motor similar. The roof opening panel front glass motor is located on the driver side and the roof opening panel shield motor is located on the passenger side.
  1. Fully close the roof opening panel glass.

  2. Fully open the roof opening panel shield.

  3. Lower the headliner. Refer to:Headliner - Lowering .
  4. Disconnect the opening panel motor electrical connector.

  5. Remove the bolts and the roof opening panel motor.

    Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
