Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

If the 4x2 indicator request, 4x4 auto indicator request, 4x4 low indicator request or 4x4 high indicator request message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the specific 2H, 4A, 4L or 4H RTT indicator to its last state (on or off) based upon the last message received.

If the 4x2 indicator request, 4x4 auto indicator request, 4x4 low indicator request or 4x4 high indicator request or 4x4 high indicator request message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0102:00 and defaults the specific 2H, 4A, 4L or 4H RTT indicator off.
