Pinpoint Test C : B1368:29

C1 CHECK THE HALL-EFFECT CIRCUITS FOR AN OPEN

Ignition OFF.

Disconnect adjustable pedal motor C2159 .

Disconnect BCMB C2602A and C2602B .

Measure:

Positive Lead	Measurement / Action	Negative Lead

Are the resistances less than 3 ohms?

Yes

GO to C2

No	REPAIR the circuit.

C2 CHECK THE HALL-EFFECT CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO GROUND

Measure:

Are the resistances greater than 10, 000 ohms?

Yes

GO to C3

No	REPAIR the circuit.

C3 CHECK THE HALL-EFFECT CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TOGETHER

Is the resistance greater than 10, 000 ohms?

Yes

GO to C4

No	REPAIR the circuit.

C4 CHECK THE HALL-EFFECT CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE

Ignition ON.

Measure:

Is any voltage present?

Yes	REPAIR the circuit.

CHECK for other BCMB Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present, GO to the DTC Chart: Body Control Module B (BCM-B) .If no other BCMB Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present, the system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector.SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT all in-line electrical connectors between the BCMB and the adjustable pedal motor.INSPECT BCMB C2602A , adjustable pedal motor C2159 for corrosion, bent pins and pushed-out pins. REPAIR the connectors as necessary.
