Windshield Wiper Pivot Arm: Installation

Set ignition switch to the II position (Ignition on).

NOTE: Make sure the wiper motors(s) stop in the PARK position.

Cycle the wipers "ON" for one complete cycle and then turn the wipers "OFF".

NOTE: The ignition must remain "ON" during installation of the wiper pivot arm(s).

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

NOTE: Make sure the wiper motor is in the PARK position.
- Position the wiper pivot arm(s) on the wiper motor shaft(s).
- Align the wiper pivot arms per measurements.
- Align the LH windshield wiper pivot arm to 90 mm (3.54).
- Align the RH windshield wiper pivot arm to 75 mm (2.95 in).

- Install the wiper pivot arm washer(s) and nut(s)
- Torque to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Install the wiper pivot arm nut cover(s).

Set ignition to the 0 position (Ignition "OFF").
