BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B1C77:12 | Rear Wiper Relay: Circuit Short To Battery | Sets when the BCM detects a short to voltage from the rear wiper motor relay control circuit. |
| B1C77:13 | Rear Wiper Relay: Circuit Open | Sets when the BCM detects an open from the rear wiper motor relay control circuit. |
| B1C77:14 | Rear Wiper Relay: Circuit Short To Ground or Open | Sets when the BCM detects an open from the rear wiper motor relay control circuit. |
| B1C77:19 | Rear Wiper Relay: Circuit Current Above Threshold | Sets when the BCM detects excessive current from the rear wiper motor relay control circuit. |
Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Wiper/washer switch
- Rear window wiper motor
- Rear window wiper motor relay
- SASM
- BCM
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect the BCM fuse 85 (7.5A) (RS only) or BJB fuse 42 (15A) (all others) and make sure it is OK.
