Rear Door Latch: Installation

  1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Install the exterior rear door handle reinforcement.

  2. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Install the rear door latch.

    • Install the rear door latch and the screws.

    • Install the interior rear door handle cable to the rear door latch.

    • Attach the cable to the rear door latch.

  3. Position the rear door interior door handle cable and electrical harness.

    1. Position the rear door interior door handle cable through the door.
    2. Connect the rear door latch electrical connector.
    3. Connect the rear door exterior handle harness routing clip.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
