Interior Door Handle: Removal

NOTE: LHF shown, all others similar.
  1. Release the clips and remove the interior door handle screw cover.

  2. Remove the interior door handle.

    1. Remove the interior door handle retainer.
    2. Release the interior door handle retaining tabs and remove the interior door handle.
    3. If equipped, disconnect the door lock control switch electrical connector.
    4. Disconnect the latch control cable and remove the interior door handle.

  3. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    If equipped, remove the door lock control switch.

    1. Release the tabs on the door lock control switch.
    2. Remove the door lock control switch.
