Ignition Lock Cylinder: Installation

  1. Make sure the ignition lock cylinder is in the ACC position.
  2. NOTE: Make sure to align the locking pin with the locking pin access hole. Insert the ignition lock cylinder into the ignition lock cylinder access hole located on the steering column.
  3. push insert on the ignition key and install the ignition lock cylinder.
  4. Rotate the ignition key through all lock cylinder positions to check for correct operation.
  5. install the steering column shrouds. Refer to: STEERING COLUMN SHROUDS .
