Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The DDM receives the obstacle detection indicator command from the SODL module over the MS-CAN. The side obstacle detection indicator is inoperative if the DDM does not receive the data.

DDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0232:00 Lost Communication With Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left: No Sub-Type Information Sets when the DDM detects data messages missing from the SODL module.
