Rear Seat Backrest Latch: Removal

1. Fold the rear seat cushion forward.
2. Remove the center safety restraint fastener.

  : 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

Press the locking buttons lift and remove the outboard head restraint. Remove the rear seat backrest latch bezel.

Remove the rear seat backrest latch.
1. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, release the outboard backrest cover J-clip. Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
2. Position the backrest cover and foam pad away from the backrest frame.
3. Remove the fasteners and the latch.

  : 17 lb.ft (23 Nm)
