Rear Seat Backrest Cover: Removal

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.
  1. Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to: Rear Seat Backrest  .
  2. If equipped, remove the rear seat armrest. Refer to: Rear Seat Armrest  .
  3. Remove the rear seat armrest finish cover insert from the backrest frame.

  4. Remove the rear seat center safety belt and backrest release latch bezels.

  5. Remove the rear head restraint guide sleeves. Refer to: Rear Head Restraint Guide Sleeve  .
  6. Remove and discard the rear seat backrest hinge.

  7. Release the rear seat backrest cover from the backrest frame.

    1. Release the backrest cover J-clip.
    2. Position the backrest cover from the frame.

  8. Using side cutter pliers, remove the hog rings. Remove the backrest cover from the foam pad.
