B-Pillar Trim Panel: Removal

Position the front seat in the full forward position.

Position the front door weatherstrip aside, release the clips and remove the front door scuffplate trim panel.

Position aside the read door weatherstrip, release the clips and remove the rear door scuffplate trim panel.

Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel.
1. Position aside the front and rear door weatherstrip.
2. Release the B-pillar lower trim panel upper clip.
3. Release the B-pillar lower trim panel lower clip.
4. Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel.

WARNING: Turn the ignition OFF and wait one minute to deplete the backup power supply. Ignition must remain OFF until repair is complete. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.

Turn the ignition OFF and wait at least one minute.
If equipped. Release the tabs and remove the seatbelt anchor cover.

Position aside the carpet.

Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the bolt and position front seatbelt aside.

Torque

: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
- Remove the retainer cover and the upper B-pillar retainer.
- Position the weatherstrip aside, release the clips and remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
