Windshield Glass: Removal

  1. Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille .
  2. Remove the windshield moulding assembly.

  3. Remove the A-piller trim panel. Refer to: A-Pillar Trim Panel .
  4. Remove the Interior rear view mirror. Refer to: Interior Rear View Mirror .
  5. If equipped. Remove the overhead console. Refer to: Overhead Console .
  6. Remove the sun visor.

    1. Remove the retainers.
    2. If equipped.
    3. Remove the sunvisor and disconnect the electrical connector.

  7. NOTE: Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the Deluxe Air Knife while cutting.

    This procedure step requires the specified number of technicians. Use Special Service Tool: 300-AST1770E Deluxe Air Knife.
