Rear Window Glass - 5-Door: Removal

- Use the General Equipment: Knife. Use the General Equipment: Adhesive Tape
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel - 5-Door .
- Remove the rear window wiper motor. Refer to: Rear Window Wiper Motor .
- Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to: Rear Spoiler - 5-Door . Refer to: Rear Spoiler - RS .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and position aside the wiring harness.

NOTE: Some resistance may be encountered when cutting through the glass locating spacers.
Using the special tool and working from inside the vehicle, cut the urethane adhesive from the rear window glass starting at the top center and working toward the bottom corners. Use Special Service Tool: 300-AST1770E Deluxe Air Knife.
- With the help of an assistant, remove the rear window glass.
